11th July 2013
Windsurfing: Felixstowe dip
Wind Direction: NE
Wind Stength: 15-18kts
Surf / Sea State: flat to bumpy
Air Temperature: warm
Sea Temperature: warm
Weather: Sunny
Max Speed: 25.40 kts (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 16.2 nm (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Another nice NE set with Lord Swain, Chris and his mate + kiters. Arrive 4 ish and it looked windy for 6.0 but rigged 7.2 Hellcat/120L excite ride pro (my favourite combo) as the wind always drops later.
Chris rigged 6 ish and we had a great blast session. Lord Swain turned up on 6.6 for some great burn up sessions.
Sea state changed regularily as tide went out but generally its flattish on the inside bumpy in the middle and rough swells far out.
Had some great flat burns, but the sea was bumpier than early in the week, and struggled to put in any decent gybes out to sea. The river mouth really churned up, making it hard work but lucky the flatter parts compensated. Had to change the 44cm fin to 38cm as the sea was rough. The 38 fin was faster by 2kts than the 44cm, and yet again the North Shoxs suspension paid dividends keeping me on the water, much longer.
Had several duels with Lord Swain and urinated all over him this time as I had 1/2 metre more sail :)
Enjoyed the session and stayed out till 7pm as the wind died.
